Don't Pitch Those Pumpkins!

Got Pumpkins?
Save a few of your Halloween pumpkins for winter decorating.
It's fun and easy to turn your pumpkins into a delight for the winter holidays. Just save a few that you don't carve. Wash your whole pumpkin with water to remove any dirt from the surface. Leave the stems attached to create cool hats!
Once dry, paint the entire pumpkin with a white acrylic paint primer. This helps the paint to stick to the pumpkin better.
Once this coat is dry, paint with a white acrylic paint. It is easy, with less clean up to use a sponge brush for this painting.
Once the white paint is completely dry, you can paint faces on your snowman pumpkin!
Paint the stems and tops black to create a neat top hat or give him an old knit cap to wear.
You can even take an old scarf or use a piece of scrap material for a scarf and use straight pins to attach it to your snowman!
It's fun and they're so cute!
